This piece started with paper I made from the leaves of the crocosmia plant that I collected on a walk to the park. The plant fibers are soaked, cooked, and pulped; then formed into sheets. This piece also contains handmade mulberry paper. I painted the delicate flowers using water color paint and paint I made from marigold flowers from my garden.
