This piece started with paper I made from the leaves of the watsonia plant that I collected in Arroyo Grande. The plant fibers are soaked, cooked, and pulped; and then formed into sheets. This piece also contains vintage lace and a cultured pearl and the tag is typed on handmade mulberry paper.
This piece is mounted on a linen covered panel and is ready to hang.
