Handmade paper-pulp bowl. Made from shredded paper, cotton rag and statice or sea lavender as it is also known. When the pulp was still wet I gave this bowl some additional dimension by debossing the bowl with some vintage crocheted trimmings. This gave the disk flower portion a raised effect - much like a modified cone flower. The petals curve delicately upward for additional depth.
